It’s been a busy month for the Komatsu Forestry Ltd site, which is progressing very well. Despite some freezing temperatures the foundations were all firmly set and PMS Fabrications completed the steel frame. We’ve also made great progress on the treatment tank, cavity walls, concreting and external works.
Komatsu Forest Ltd brought 22 team members onsite to see where they will be working later this year, once the project is complete. Adorned with PPE, hard hats, high vis and boots, the Komatsu team took two tours around and inside the current structure. Providing an opportunity to visualise their new workspaces.
The Komatsu team are relocating to temporary premises and fragmented for the next few months, with some of the team working mainly from home and others from a rented workshop.
Fantastic to see the scale of the building, seeing the plans and drawings come to life. An exciting time for the business, and everybody is looking forward to seeing the project transform into Komatsu’s new site over the coming months.
