The Lake District Inns & Cottages has a rich portfolio of authentic, Cumbrian, dog friendly accommodation. Which includes, the Lodge in the Vale, Traveller’s Rest, King’s Head Inn, Infinity View, and several high specification cottages.
Determined to preserve the authentic feel and original features, this project saw the conversion of a once dated hotel (The Cellar Bar) into 6 luxury studio apartments, right in the bustling, tourist centric, centre of Keswick.
Works consisted of a full refurbishment, starting with a demolition, strip out and alterations. Structural works included several new openings, steel works and extensive roof works. A full relocation of the existing utilities, services, partition walls plastering, electrical, rewire, plumbing, smoke detection, fire engineering, tv installation and TV Hib Cables in each room. Repairs and updates to the exterior of the building, from block work to render and finally painted façade.
